Since launching into the mattress industry, Dreamcloud has worked hard to bring customers one of the best luxury hybrid mattresses available at an affordable price point.
Dreamcloud’s 8 Layers of Comfort
1. Truetufted Cahmere Polyester Blend Cover
Let’s break down each layer of comfort and begin at the top. Made of a polyester and cashmere fabric blend, the cover adds a breathable layer of softness to keep you comfortable at night.
2. Gel Infused Memory Foam
A layer of memory foam that is infused with gel makes up the second layer of the Dreamcloud mattress. The gel conforms to the shape of your body to offer you maximum support as you sleep. The gel also helps to keep you cool at night.
3. Quilted Memory Foam
The third layer of the Dreamcloud mattress is where the comfort really comes in. This layer of memory foam is quilted to give you maximum comfort. You will feel like you are sleeping on a cloud.
4. Supreme Natural Latex
Moving on to layer four, this is made of natural latex. The latex assists the second layer by providing a cushioning bounce that also contours to your body to help you get a better night’s sleep.
5. Dreamplush Supporting Memory Foam
The fifth layer is comprised of more memory foam. This time it is a layer of high density memory foam with even more contouring qualities to support your body.
6. Super Dense and Soft Memory Foam
Also a dense layer of memory foam, the sixth layer is an extremely soft layer that cradles you as you are sleeping, not matter which sleep position you are in at the time.
7. Patent Pending “Bestrest” Coils
The seventh layer can only be found in the Dreamcloud mattress and is patent pending. Dreamcloud’s micro compression coil system is encased in foam comprised by five zones.
The five zones are designed to provide you with support along the entire length of your body, giving you the right level of support for each area.
8. High Density and Super Soft Memory Foam
In the final, eighth, layer of the Dreamcloud mattress you will find one last layer of memory foam. This layer also has a high density but this one reduces motion transfer while you sleep.
This allows you to have better rest as you are being disturbed less by motion.
CertiPur-US® Certified Flexible Foams
DreamCloud’s foams are CertiPur-US® certified. This ensures that your foams are of the highest quality and best safety available.
Only 1% of mattresses on the market receive this distinction.
You can rest assured and rest comfortably knowing that DreamCloud is among them.
DreamCloud’s Motion Transfer
If you sleep with a partner, motion transfer is an essential issue. Studies have shown that the DreamCloud mattress scores low with regard to motion transfer.
Central to this is the “Bestrest” coil system. The coils are individually wrapped, so they perform alone, which means if your partner moves a lot during sleep, their coils do not affect the coils you are sleeping on. From this, you should benefit and sleep more soundly.
Dreamcloud and Edge Support
Memory foam mattresses have had a bad reputation in the past of not providing great edge support, especially compared to innerspring mattress models. Dreamcloud has broken the mold when it comes to memory foam edge support.
Minor compression of edges can be seen, but Dreamcloud mattresses have quality edge support that is almost as good as support in the middle of the bed.
Bodyweight and Sleep Positions
Like any mattress, the performance does vary depending on your body weight and your preferred sleeping position. Let’s take a look at how the Dreamcloud performs under different circumstances.
For back sleepers, Dreamcloud truly excels, whether the sleeper is lightweight, average or on the heavier side. The Dreamcloud is most perfect for back sleepers.
The Dreamcloud mattress does a good job for stomach sleepers as well. While not quite as good as for back sleepers, stomach sleepers will still get a good night’s sleep on a Dreamcloud. Side sleepers that are of lighter or average weight will have the best fit for the Dreamcloud.
Completely opposite of stomach sleepers are the side sleepers. For those that sleep on their side, the Dreamcloud does very well for individuals of average or heavier body types. For lightweight side sleepers, the Dreamcloud may not perform quite as well.
All types of sleepers will benefit from the limited motion transfer and the cool gel layer of the Dreamcloud.
The Dreamcloud warranty, known as an “Everlong” warranty is similar to the warranty of their sister brand, the Nectar mattress.
The warranty offered by Dreamcloud exceeds that of most mattress brands. While the industry standard is around 10 years, the “Everlong” warranty offers a lifetime warranty on the mattress.
This is only valid for the person that originally purchased the mattress and may not be transferred.
Within the first 10 years of owning your mattress, Dreamcloud will replace it at no cost should you discover a defect in the craftsmanship or the material.
If it is after the 10 year mark of ownership, your mattress will be replaced or re-covered by Dreamcloud. In this case, there is a shipping cost.
However, if there is a defect the shipping costs will be waived. To qualify for the warranty your mattress must be on a platform bed or other proper mattress frame.
The warranty does not cover:
- Liquid damage
- Any forms of abuse or neglect
When it comes to sagging, anything less than 1.5″ is expected. As the support and stability is not affected, it is not covered by the warranty. Anything over 1.5″ of sag and the “Everlong” warranty will cover your Dreamcloud mattress.
Many companies offer a trial period for test driving their product. These tend to range up to a max of 120 nights.
It’s believed any mattress should be given at least 50 nights before the sleeper can be sure it’s right for them. It can take that long before your body’s adapted.
Determined to demonstrate the longevity of its product’s performance, the manufacturer behind Dreamcloud gives interested shoppers an astonishing 365 nights.
At the end of your first year, if you aren’t completely satisfied, return it for a full refund, no questions asked.
Financing and Shipping
Door-to-door free shipping via FedEx is available anywhere in the contiguous United States. Your Dreamcloud can also be shipped to Hawaii and Alaska.
However, customers will be asked to pay a delivery fee. You can also go through Affirm to see if you can get financing. The rate’s 0% and gives you up to 24 months to pay off the product.
White Glove Service
Dreamcloud also offers a White Glove Service for an additional $149.
Your delivery date will be scheduled, then they’ll deliver your mattress and set it up for you as well.
Then, you’re given the option for them to take your old mattress to be disposed of if you don’t want to hold on to it.
