Continue reading below for my full review of Dreamcloud mattress.
The Dreamcloud mattress has become a phenomenal success in only a year.
A lot of that has to do with being one of the most affordable hybrid, luxury mattresses on the market.
Dreamcloud’s 8 Layers of Comfort
In a short period of time, Dreamcloud set the bar high(er) for comfort through its overall thickness and the mattress’s layout.
While the typical mattress stays in a range between 10 and 11 inches, the Dreamcloud is a sky high 15 inches thick.
1. Truetufted™ Cashmere Polyester Blend Cover
The uppermost layer, this is crafted from a polyester cashmere blend. It’s been designed for lasting softness and breathability.
2. Gel Infused Memory Foam
The next layer is engineered from a gel infused memory foam. This gives the mattress its ability to conform to the contour of a sleeper’s body. This maximizes support and keeps you cool throughout the night.
3. Super Soft Quilted Memory Foam
An additional layer of memory foam that’s quilted. This enhances softness and provides the “sleeping on a cloud” sensation you want from your mattress. The manufacturer attributes this feature to the success of the product’s overall comfort.
4. Supreme Natural Latex
Besides layers of memory foam, the Dreamcloud comes with this, a fourth, layer of natural latex. While assisting in body contouring, it gives the sleep experience what we like to call “that extra bounce.”
5. Dreamplush Supporting Memory Foam
For added contouring quality, the mattress has this supportive layer of memory foam with higher density.
6. Super Dense Super Soft Memory Foam
Six layers in and the mattress is still doing work! Here we have a layer developed to cradle the sleeping body, adjusting to the sleeper’s position.
7. Patent Pending “Bestrest” Coils
The engineering here is exclusive only to the Dreamcloud mattress. The layer’s a coil system developed with micro compression. A five zoned foam, the coil system promises full body support.
8. High Density Super Soft Memory Foam
The Dreamcloud’s final, eighth layer is yet one last layer of memory foam. Consisting of high density form, it’s going to minimize motion transfer.
This way neither sleeping party will disturb the other.
CertiPur-US® Certified Flexible Foams
DreamCloud’s foams are CertiPur-US® certified. This ensures that your foams are of the highest quality and best safety available.
Only 1% of mattresses on the market receive this distinction.
You can rest assured and rest comfortably knowing that DreamCloud is among them.
DreamCloud’s Motion Transfer
If you sleep with a partner, motion transfer is an essential issue. Studies have shown that the DreamCloud mattress scores low with regard to motion transfer.
Central to this is the “Bestrest” coil system. The coils are individually wrapped, so they perform alone, which means if your partner moves a lot during sleep, their coils do not affect the coils you are sleeping on. From this, you should benefit and sleep more soundly.
Dreamcloud and Edge Support
Memory foam mattresses typically do not have the best edge support, especially if you are comparing how their edges hold up to the edges of an innerspring mattress.
Interestingly though, the Dreamcloud mattress was proven to have better edge support than other memory foam mattresses out there.
Of course there will be some compression on the layers of memory foam out at the edges, but the Dreamcloud gives almost as much support on the edge as it does in the middle.
Bodyweight and Sleep Positions
It’s important to keep in mind that the performance of the Dreamcloud mattress is depended on your body weight and your sleeping position.
Read on to see where the Dreamcloud performs at its best, and where it lacks a bit.
On Your Back: Dreamcloud has been proven to be suited best for those that sleep on their backs, no matter your weight.
If you are a back sleeper, Dreamcloud is among the most perfect mattresses for you.
On Your Stomach: The Dreamcloud does good for those who sleep on their stomach, but not as good as back sleepers.
It’s a good fit for those stomach sleepers who are on the lighter or average side, but doesn’t work as well for heavier set stomach sleepers.
On Your Side: Meanwhile, the Dreamcloud’s side sleeping quality is the opposite of how it works for stomach sleepers.
The Dreamcloud works well for average to heavy side sleepers, but lightweight side sleepers find it doesn’t work as well for them.
DreamCloud gives customers what they coin as the “Everlong” warranty, which is their version of a lifetime warranty, similar to their sister brand, Nectar Mattress.
This warranty far surpasses most brands as the industry standard is only around 10 years.
As is the case with any other brand, there are conditions of the warranty, which we will take a look at.
During the first 10 years in which you own your mattress, DreamCloud will replace your mattress at no additional cost if there is a defect in the materials or manufacturing.
Following the 10 year juncture, DreamCloud will replace or re-cover your mattress, no questions asked. If any kind of defect is found in the materials, the shipping costs will be waived.
Note: The warranty is only valid for the customer that originally purchased the mattress. The Everlong warranty cannot be transferred to another.
Furthermore, your mattress must be on a suitable base, such as a platform bed, or any other type of bed frame.
The warranty does not cover the following:
• Liquid damage
• Any signs of abuse or neglect
Regarding mattresses sagging, 1.5” or less is expected with most mattresses. 1.5” does not negatively affect the support and stability of the mattress, so this depth is not covered by the warranty.
If there is any sag of over 1.5” found, DreamCloud will cover it under the Everlong warranty.
Most companies offer a sleep trial of around 100-120 nights. DreamCloud gives you a full year to try it out. If you are not, for any reason, 100% satisfied, you can return your DreamCloud mattress for a full refund, no questions asked.
For DreamCloud to be so confident in their product that they will give you a full year to try it out really says a lot about how much they trust their mattresses and it speaks to how much they really care to satisfy customers.
Financing and Shipping
DreamCloud provides free shipping to your door via FedEx anywhere in the continental United States. In addition, they also ship to Alaska and Hawaii, however, customers in these States have to pay an additional delivery fee.
DreamCloud also offers up to 0% financing through Affirm, which allows you up to 2 years (or 24 months) to pay for your mattress.
White Glove Service
Dreamcloud also offers a White Glove Service for an additional $149.
Your delivery date will be scheduled, then they’ll deliver your mattress and set it up for you as well.
Then, you’re given the option for them to take your old mattress to be disposed of if you don’t want to hold on to it.
